GT Vs RR :- Samson and Hetmyer lead Rajasthan Royals to a three-wicket victory over Gujarat Titans

Rajasthan Royals 179 for 7 (Samson 60, Hetmyer 56*, Shami 3-25, Rashid 2-46) beat Gujarat Titans 177 for 7 (Miller 46, Gill 45, Sandeep 2-25) by three wickets

They’ve succeeded! Gujarat Titans’ winning streak against Rajasthan Royals has now been broken. Sanju Samson-led RR destroyed Gujarat Titans by three wickets on their home pitch on Sunday to get revenge for their loss in the IPL final. The leaders in the Sunday thriller were ShimronHetmyer and RR skipper. Hetmyer hit 56 home runs on 26 balls.

In their prior events, GT had defeated RR in all three games, and it appeared that trend would hold true tonight as well, according to head-to-head data. The Rajasthan Royals were having trouble right away. The IPL match 23 appeared to be mostly in control of the Gujarat Titans. From the first delivery, Md Shami’s outstanding bowling suffocated the Royals. His total came to 3/5. Only 26 runs were scored by the Royals at the end of the powerplay. According to records, this was the Indian Premier League team’s lowest powerplay score of the current season. They quickly lost Jaiswal and Buttler, their starting lineup. One wicket was taken by Hardik Pandya.

Rashid Khan took two wickets. Noor Ahmad, an impact sub, had a significant influence by ejecting RR captain Sanju Samson. Sanju Samson and ShimronHetmyer’s 50-run partnership kept the Royals in the game, but Noor’s dismissal was made possible by David Miller’s superb catch.

But Hetmyer shifted the scenario and gave the Royals a chance to win. With this victory, Rajasthan Royals keep the top spot in the IPL points standings. GT is still ranked third.

Samson goes 6,6,6

Samson threw down some powerful blows in Rashid’s third over. As soon as Rashid dropped short while attempting to mix his lengths, he rapidly shifted weight back to pull. He arrived at the pitch to belt the first two down the ground.

At this point, Titans substituted Afghanistan’s Noor Ahmad for Gill as the Impact Sub, adding the left-arm spinner to his arsenal. He had Samson choose long-off after being struck for a six and a four.
